Welcome back to the Fansite!! I've had it 'hidden' for awhile, just working on the blog. I've now changed to blog to an Online Web Novel. Only a few more months and I will be out of Iraq, and back to Hawaii. Then I'll should have plenty of time to finish this fan site. Thank you for stopping by!

Its Christmas time, though it doesn't feel like it. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't touched the website. Frankly theres no reason to. I've been too busy to do anything anyway. I'm thinking of having someone run the site in my place so its constantly updated. I doubt I can get anyone to do it out of their free time. The Forums have been filling up lately with people actually joining to post their thoughts and ideas on the Final fantasy series. Well I apologize to those who do visit the website. The Armys got me busy here in Iraq. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Things have been rather hectic here in Iraq with the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. I've been out of the loop with whats going on in the Final Fantasy world. Also the hub we go through for our service installed 'websense' on their server which blocks just about anything they set it to. I can't browse any sites that are gaming in anyway so I don't have access to any Final Fantasy updates. I'm probably going to have to get someone to keep me updated. The site hasn't had much traffic, just getting a few hits from top referrals google and my buddy Jason's podcast site, The Glitch. Not sure what needs to be done to drive more traffic, any suggestions?

Well here it is. I've found a way to upload the site, and its up. I hope that it becomes the 'go to' site for Final Fantasy Fans. As I've stated before in my blog and in other updates the site is still a work in progress. I'll constantly be adding new information about old and new games focused around Final Fantasy. I also look forward to the additions that are made not by me but you the reader. Remember that I am in Iraq, and I may not always have the time or the ability to add or update the site in a timely manner. I apologize in advance for any inconvienance. Thanks for stopping by.

Still more changes among pages. I have been updating my personal resume to be used in job applications once my enlistment is up. I still have no capabilites of putting the site online yet. It is not ready anyway, there are many blank pages still. This update is mostly to document to slow progress of my best layout yet. I'm pretty excited about it.

Updated many of the pages, getting a start on each. I also created a header in flash for the index page, hopefully I'll have one created for all the pages at somepoint. I still don't have uploading capabilities here in Iraq at the moment, so the site is not even up at this point. Which brings me to the question, why am I updating the News?

Never forget September 11th and what happened on that day. Being a member of the US Army it's hard not to forget. Think of those whose lives were lost that day because of people who hate America. We are a strong Nation, we will never fear them.

I started the redesign of cloudstrife.com today. I've been brewing the new ideas in my head for a long time now. I'm going to gear the website toward a community site rather than just my site. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it 'community' but I'm looking for ideas. No longer will the site be my personal blog, it will be what it was meant to be when I bought the domain in 2001. It was meant to be a site dedicated to everything Final Fantasy. It will be!
